Yamada is nuts. Did you guys see the one where he ran out of time on the Warped Wall, and insisted on finishing the course anyway?? That was so creepy and uncomfortable. If there's any competitor who's going to snap and kill a whole bunch of people one day, my money's on him.
And I also love Nagano and also find him weirdly hot - very rugged. Shingo Yamamoto and the firefighter just seem like supremely cool guys. I feel so bad for Yamamoto, because it seems like he hasn't been as on-form since he dislocated his shoulder on the final obstacle all those tournaments ago.

Oh man, I think we've seen every single episode of Ninja Warrior in this house. And if G4 would air more than, oh, six episodes of Unbeatable Banzuke, we'd watch more of that, too. I'm reallllly looking forward to Wipeout and I Survived a Japanese Game Show tonight. I always forget it's on, but whenever I catch Ninja Warrior, it's always just the first stage of it. I love that the contestants bring in props and/or do some kind of action to show what they do. OT: I just wanted to add though that I watched Wipeout and I Survived a Japanese Game Show because I thought it would be more MXC than Ninja Warrior. I thought Wipeout did a great job of balancing both shows and was a lot more entertaining than Celebrity Family Feud turned out to be. I enjoyed the latter show too, but the personalities and the voting off nature of the show didn't make me like it as much as I enjoyed Wipeout. There's no one I can root for yet except maybe Andrew, Ben, and the redhead on the Green Monkeys who didn't really say much therefore hasn't annoyed me yet. Cathy can leave at anytime already, and I'm not really sure about the others. They seemed a little too cocky right now at times, but maybe that will change for the better.

I didn't realize Wipeout was airing last night until I went to tape Celebrity Family Fued, then I had to run around my house gathering the herd to come watch the new U.S. obstacle course gameshow. I could tell that some network suit watched Sasuke and decided to keep the parts they felt worked the best:
1)The bright flashy obstacle course (almost Disney-esque in it's Americanization) 2)The muddy pit made even more muddy and disgusting 3)Normal everyday people exhausting themselves 4)Hilarious pratfalls
It's like they lined up a whole episode of people like Mr. Octopus, Hang-glider guy and teeny model-making dude... We laughed our asses off.
