I was surprised that the tomboy was able to walk so well in stilettos. I love Tim, and his advice is much more helpful than just throwing outfits at people. I laughed when Veronica said she needed to look through the girl's underwear drawer.

I only caught part of the ep that aired last night. I like the interplay between Tim and Veronica (Gunn & Webb - sounds like 1950s detectives ). According to her IMDb page, she's a Parsons grad, so maybe she and Tim go way back.

I really liked the show. It's a fresh alternative to What Not to Wear, which I loved but have been bored with lately. Plus, both Tim and Veronica seem like really nice people, which is kind of neat.

I liked it too, even though I disagree with some of the wardrobe basics (I don't have a white shirt or a trenchcoat and I get along fine without either).
And I blame Tim Gunn for my new haircut. I went to Ulta to pick up a couple of things right after watching the show so when one of the stylists offered to give me a trim I couldn't resist.

I'll watch Tim Gunn in anything. So they will have a plus-size-ish makeover? Good, though she probably won't be able to get a dress at Catherine Malandrino. I am so distracted by Veronica's ring. In a good way

I caught last week's episode last night and I enjoy this show. I had read a bad review for it, but the reviewer kept comparing it to Project Runway and I don't think that is a fair comparison. I am curious about the show's budget. They give away great and expensive gifts. I think I want a walking coach like Benny Ninja.
Now Rene from Shear Genius had me laughing. I don't remember him being so animated from the episodes of Shear Genius I watched, so he may have always been this way and I just missed it. The man is beautiful and he gave JeAnne a great haircut. Still, he seemed a little over the top and I wasn't expecting it after the initial introduction with the colorist and make up artist.

YAY! Laura from Project Runway came to visit the 'contestant' this week. I'm so excited that Laura is about to launch her own line!
The girl this week though was sooooo not excited about Tim Gunn being there or just about, anything. Does she not think that her capris are terrible on her 5' 3" frame? UGH!
I'm glad that she finally started to appreciate things a bit more after she got the right foundation undergarments and after getting a designer dress. It would have taken me less time to get excited once I made it to the designer segment.

This 41 year old woman who insists on dressing like a 21 year old is really working my nerves. She is totally against everything Tim and Veronica are telling her and she looks a mess!! Grow up already!
ETA: Ok, she redeemed herself by the end of the show.
