I haven't watched yet (but it's recorded!). I'm having trouble getting past Amy Fisher, the little wannabe killer bitch. I guess I really can't stand to hear her whining about her childhood when she shot a woman in the face.
The other prerequisite - a contestant (this is a game show, right?) from a previous season drops in to create massive havoc and pain. Steven Adler gives it another shot - although I don't see too much of him in the previews.
And they've added Sober House hot mess herself Jennifer. I'm assuming just so that the f'ed up men have someone that they can call a fat bitch (she is neither, but she's heavier than stick figure Shelly, so she'll do).

Wait, did Jennifer relapse? No, she's working there. Of course there's tons of drama with her running around and arguing with people. I have no idea if she has the qualifications to even be there, or for some reason Drew thinks she's a ratings draw.

BUMPing because it's back! I missed the first part but Bai Ling and Michael Lohan's "home video"s felt incredibly staged. This show should be an inspiration for those with problems, but I hope it's not travelling down the manufactured reality road. On a shallow note, Jeremy Jackson grew up very well. I think that Jeremy fried his brain. Anybody who can say with a straight face that bottled water is linked to bisexuality is pretty far gone mentally. edited because Jeremy brought his own filter so he wouldn't have to drink bottled water. I was so flabbergasted by his statement that I got confused.

Yeah, having Jennifer work there and bringing Steven back is all about the drama. Nice and healthy.
And why is it so easy to climb into the roof of that place? They should have fixed that by now.

I wonder if Mike Starr and/or Jeff Conaway will be acknowledged at all. I can't think of any truly successful inspiring stories to come out of this show other than Rodney King... and since I don't know the guy personally and haven't heard anything about him lately (he's not a famewhore after all) who knows if he has managed to stay sober. Fer reals!

Amber Smith seems to be OK, I guess. I'm surprised she hasn't found a way to get back on the show again.
And has Sean Stewart been in anymore trouble? Most of these people are just obscure and that's why you don't know if they're in trouble or not (cough, Nikki McKibbon).
I could only find this on Rodney..

I don't know what Jennifer was talking about with "I had welts on my body". I don't remember Steven Adler getting anywhere NEAR her on Sober House, and I'm sure if he had laid a pinky on her it would have been the centerpiece of three consecutive episodes. They had some confrontations that weren't nice and I can understand why she wouldn't be thrilled about having to deal with him again, but the tears and the panic attack and the "He emotionally and physically abused me!" stuff is WAY over the top. She seems like a nice enough person, but she's more of a drama queen than the patients and as a result is not very good at her job. Shelley has had FAR more unpleasant encounters with patients and sucks it up.
I enjoyed this encounter between Shelley and Sean Young: Sean: Amy Fisher. Didn't she kill someone? Shelley: Something like that. But it was a long time ago. Sean: It was a long time ago so it's ok. Shelley: Yeah, it was just a one-off.
I'll assume that "driving erratically" = "driving while being black". I'm really rooting for Rodney; I hope everything works out with his marriage and that he has as few encounters with the LAPD as possible.

Strange that happend exactly 20 years, to the day, after the original incident.
I'm not in the US so never seen this show, but is Dr. Drew as much as a sleazebag as he appears in interviews to tabloids?

Yep! Someone really needs to do a rehab show for fame addiction - and Drew can be the first cast member. Ahh, I didn't even remember that Steven and Jennifer had those problems. Now it's making sense why she's back and somehow able to WORK in rehab. Wow, there's your answer to how sleazy Drew is. And yes, I can't remember all this physical abuse either. I know she had a miserable time with Mike Starr, but he was apparently unavailable for filming since he was back to drugging and not long for this world. It wouldn't surprise me to hear that Drew tried to get him too so that more people could abuse her for ratings. So that Amy Fisher married a winner... she's a porn actress? And has little children. And blacks out when she drinks (or she conveniently claims that so she doesn't have to responsible for anything - again). I'm digging Sean Young, though. It looks like she's going to unleash some crazy. And the craziest one there is so far making the most sense.
