who was the woman who opened the show? I missed the very beginning. She looked very familiar but I am not sure who she was.

That was Alicia Keys.

Is it just me or did Frank Sinatra's video image have more charisma than Carrie Underwood? Carrie is a decent singer but she has no stage presence.

I really dislike Carrie Underwood, and I hate that song with a passion. I found it funny that she's singing about some skanky bleach blonde and she was on stage with her puffy yellow hair and wearing that get up.

Carrie has a great voice but I agree, she's pretty shallow a performer. That song is crap...singing about taking the low road and celebrating it?

Taking bets that for the next album Carrie will sing R&B, wear slutty outfits, and declare that this is the real her and that she was repressed by her record company and American Idol.

Unpopular music opinion. Alicia Keys is a lovely singer but she sound horrible on "No One." She tries to sound like Whitney Houston and well she's not.

I always thought it was dumb that she carves her name in the seats. Yeah, make it easier for the cops to prove you did it! Plus, I believe in TN she would have done enough damage to the truck to have to serve time in jail.

Carrie Underwood is skinnnny. I remember her being a little thicker when she was on AI. Those shorts were about to fall off of her.

No way should Alicia Keys won over Mary J. Blige. Already I'm bored. Prince looks fantastic. I know Michael Jackson must watch him and fume.

The lead singer of The Time wishes he was a quarter as cool as Prince. And Rihanna is really rocking the short hair something fierce.

Oh, and unpopular music opinion, The Beatles are the very definition of overrated, but that is just my two cents.

I've never even heard of The Time. I was at a complete loss who that dude in the gold suit was. I actually thought it was A.J. from the Backstreet Boys at first.

Tom Hanks? The Grammys are so hip.
