I definitely have been spending too much time over at the Too Much Information thread because I all seem to post or read about now is sex, so here goes:

And, just about anything off Guns n' Roses Appetite for Destruction. Something about that album is really raw - it just makes me feel sexy. It's a shame that my man hates that band. His favourite music is Kraft Werk and that is so.not.sexy!

Yossarian, I agree about "One of These Nights" - that song has a real atmosphere about it - like you can feel and hear it.

I'm glad I'm not alone in liking that, Pachouli! That song makes me want to have been born fifteen years earlier so that I would have been a young adult in the late 1970s/ early 1980s. You captured it perfectly - the song does have an atmosphere to it - a kind of free, pre-AIDS sexual brashness.

OKay...I am SOOOO happy to see someone else feels the same about this song. I used to feel SO dirty when the video would come on MTV...and the song would play....

In fact, I am now in the same mode with some of the newer NIN songs...

"Everyday is exactly the same" (man...do i love that song)

and "there is no you...there is only me"....whoooooo!!!


Another NIN song..."you are the perfect drug..." The end of that song...priceless.

"I Can't Wait" by Nu Shooz is actually one of the sexiest songs I can think of. It just conjures up so many images of dancing with hot strangers at clubs, all "this is what I've been waiting for." Yeah, so I was a slut when I was a teenager. Oddly, "Here Comes the Hotstepper" does the same thing for me if only because it evokes a particular era in my life, although not one I'd want to go back to.

Insofar as Mr. DNT and I have a song, it's definitely "Possession" by Sarah McLachlan. That song was playing on the radio all the time when we first started dating and even now, when I hear it, I feel that same rush of new-relationship lust that I felt back then.
