Yes, it's a song riding on the coat tails of a bisexual sheepherders movie (I'm all for accuracy). Willie, put down the bong, seriously that shit is messing up your head. I never ever thought much of Willie Nelson and this is just patronizing (and stupid).

I still love the song "Livin' La Vida Loca". It's just so catchy and pop-y. Yes, I am a moron.

Actually, the song was written 25 years ago, while the stars of the movie were still in diapers. Someone passed a copy of it to Willie Nelson back in the late 1980s and he covered it last year. (There was a story about in CNN, incidentally, I don't just happen to know all about this song off the top of my head, or anything.)

Heh. Maria is an excellent dance song IMO and the spanish version is way better than the english. I still lived in Miami when that was released and that was totally the song that sent everyone running to the dance floor.
