Seriously. I was listening to Hootie and the Blowfish in teh car the other day because it was by far the best thing on the radio. And I was in San Francisco!

I just put Salt N Pepas "None of Your Business" on my MP3 the other day. I'm embarrassed to admit that I love it more than I even remembered.

I really miss 90s rap. Look at this great list of rap acts[/color]. I also loved Heavy D and the Boyz, DJ Rob Base and EZ Rock, Kid 'n Play, etc. Their stuff was fun and catchy. Public Enemy was also great.

That was back when there were still stadium sized hip hop/ rap tours. I remember seeing Public Enemy in Dodger Stadium in 1992, maybe? And the Wu Tang with Rage in 96.
God, I miss the 90s. Kids today don't know what they're missing.

I remember there being more mixed band shows. I saw Rollins Band open up for both Beastie Boys and Pearl Jam. The first two Lollapalooza tours were fantastic.
I saw Public Enemy headline an all day hip hop show with Big Daddy Kane, Kid n Play, EPMD, Digital Underground (when Tupac was a dancer) and lots more. I sat in the second row and it was one of the best shows I've ever seen.

My first Lollapalooza got rained out--I was in high school and I was devastated for days. OT, but WitchyPoo, your avatar is the bomb. Have you heard the rumors that it's coming back to Broadway for a limited run with JCM at the helm? So far no confirmation, though.

I would travel to NYC to see Hedwig. My friend was in the local Seattle run in 2000 that was extended a couple of times. They even used my then out of print stage recording to learn the songs. It was fab. I was even thanked for my support in the program.
