Word to the Peter Gabriel, U2 and Jeff Buckley lyrics (I think "Lover, You Should Have Come Over" might be his best song). I also think the entirity of "Who's Gonna Ride Your Wild Horses" qualifies as some of my favorite lyrics. My friend actually wants to get a tattoo of "Your gypsy heart"---I think it's the delivery.

I was talking with a friend about The Tragically Hip, and she does concert and CD reviews for a living and she was telling me about how all her friends in the business absolutely hate the Trouble at the Henhouse album. So naturally I went home and listened to it.
I have to say, for a reviled pop album it contains one of my favourite songs of all time, Don't Wake Daddy with one of my favourite verses of all time:
I don't know why I like it so much. Maybe because everyone else hates it and I'm secretly emo or something.

So simple, but: from Jeff Buckley's "Lover, You Should've Come Over" is amazing. That is my favourite song ever and that line makes the song! I don't know why I like the following verse but it works in the song and always makes me smile: Pulp - Disco 2000
