I liked his first CD a lot. Did the second CD get any airplay?

He made the fatal mistake of a lot of British artists who become successful in America- he Americanised his sound and lost what made him popular and different in the US in the first place. His second album was terrible; his first, decent. Also, he's incredibly smug, and flaming (Not That There's Anything Wrong With That).
I love how people say he and Lloyd Banks are identical, just because they have the same facial hair.

"7 Days" is one of my favorite guilty pleasure songs. It is just so cheesy and AWESOME! I also like a lot of his Artful Dodger stuff. I saw him perform "Whats Your Flava?" (or however it is spelled) acoustically on TRL and it was pretty nice. The radio version? Not so much.

I LOVED his first CD (the whole thing). The second one was just okay, in my opinion. I love "7 Days" too!

What makes him flaming? : I find him sooo gay. It's the heady mix of effeminacy (see many of his interviews), overgrooming (just LOOK at him) and over-compensation (see What's Your Flava) that does it, I think. Of course I have no evidence. I'd probably like him more if he was gay- it's about time we had an out urban artist. He'd still be mind numbingly smug, but hey. |

That's exactly how he comes across to me. I think whatever his new album is like the best of his career is behind him. His Artful Dodger days was when he was happening. He needs to hookup romantically with someone more currently famous. That's the only way anyone's going to pay attention to him again. |
