Isn't she a horse rider who competes professionally? I don't remember hearing anything else about her having a job. I don't know how much time she actually spends riding professionally though. The only time I seem to hear about her is when she's at a party. She has a degree in physical therapy, specializing in equine physiotherapy.

She won the Individual gold medal for Eventing in Aachen. I don't know the date it actually happened, but it was on NBC today. She's a very capable rider. She almost lost it at one point during the cross country, but managed to stay on. Princess Anne was there. Her father, Captain Mark Phillips is the coach for the U.S. team. They showed him cheering when she won the show jumping. It was very sweet. She's so fortunate to have such great support, not to mention perfect horse flesh.
I'd be insanely jealous of the Windsors if they looked like the Grimaldis. Fantastic horses and killer beauty would be extremely jealousy provoking. Fortunately, Zara has no clue or just doesn't give a damn how bad her teeth are. What is it about dentistry that they are so opposed to? She'd be a reasonably attractive girl if she reined in the pointy canines. She's a great rider though. I have to give her that.

Zara has been named 2006 BBC Sports Personality of the Year - 35 years after her mother, the Princess Royal, received the same honour. Some are saying that it was because there was a lack of anything really noteworthy happening in British sports this year, but I say "Good for her!" I think she deserves it as well as anyone.

Since Paula Radcliffe went and got herself knocked up, this wasn't a good sports year at all for England and I'm using 'good' relatively because we are talking about England here. Zara deserves the title, plus, I really love how choked up her mom gets watching her compete. Adds a very human side to the British royals.

Zara's acceptance speech for the Sports Personality of the Year award was apalling! ;D
She was the clear favourite to win, , so you would have thought she might have prepared something!

Zara's brother Peter is getting married in May to a beautiful Canadian, Autumn Kelly. She's Catholic.

Yes, she does!
I wonder what she thinks of her York cousins, she seems very different from them. I also wonder what she thinks of Kate and Chelsy!

Her horse, Toytown, is injured so she has been dropped from the Olympic team.

That sucks for her but it's nice that she puts the welfare of the horse first.
