Not really? We all die at some point, and she had been messed up for years.
Still, this is so sad. She was always on my death radar, but I really thought she would outlive Britney Spears/Amy Winehouse/Pete Doherty/Lindsay Lohan.

I'm really shocked by this. I wasn't particularly a fan but I did enjoy some of her work. R.I.P. Brittany.

Another example of how drugs can destroy talent. "I'm outtie" is one of my recurring lines in the Real World, from Clueless, and she was very very good in Girl Interrupted.

I don't mean for this to sound callous, but I was just thinking on Girl Interrupted, and between Winona, Angelina, and Brittany, wow, you have to think that was some pretty eerie casting going on. Three very messed up young ladies.
Only 32. It's shocking, but also kind of not. She clearly hadn't been taking care of herself for a long, long time.

I just found out. HOLY SHIT. She's been so loopy in the past few years (maybe longer), I guess I can't be too surprised.
However, she seemed like a sweet gal and had a beautiful voice. RIP, Brittany.

Did anyone have her in this year's Death Pool? I bet she had OD'ed.
I semi-expected her to OD but not to die-especially not before the higher-profile hot mess trifecta of Britney/Amy W./and Lindsay L.

When I saw her at the top of the page I thought "Wow, I hope she's not dead." So so sad. I watched Almost Home back in the day, but didn't know who she was until Clueless. I always liked her, too bad she was troubled.
