I think it's more of an affectionately formal/informal use for Anne and the crew spent the weekend talking about her as HRH e.g. "HRH is coming to inspect this galley better clear up!" She also doesn't have a territorial designation unlike her brothers, I imagine if this had been Edward for example he'd have used Wessex and Charles Rothesay in Scotland. We know W&H used "Wales" in the military. "Royal" for Princess Royal doesn't sound right. I could be wrong though.

She's also on an official engagement which is different to registering a birth and making it nonsensical from a US perspective and failing to provide any of his actual names that were on his own birth certificate but making sure DOS was there.

The kindest thing you can say about Harry's birth certificate debacle was that he needed a surname that had been on his own birth certificate and HRH was it, even though there were other options and the differences between US and UK birth certificates made it difficult if you have a non standard name.

I think Edward/Sophie are pretty firmly grounded in being part of that breakdown as well. They've both had their missteps in the past, but are solid team players who do their share.

Princess Anne and her husband will visit Australia from April 9th-11th then head to Papua New Guinea from April 11-13. Interested to see what if any attention the American media gives to this tour since they were so concerned about the optics of "colonialism" of the Cambridges visit to Belize, Jamaica, and the Bahamas. Don't expect EHolmes to cover it.

If Anne is being petty towards the York Girls i would assume it’s over Andrew hijacking the memorial for their father for his own gain more so than anything Harry related.

Either way if there was a snub it reflects badly on Anne imo as Beatrice and Eugenie shouldn’t be blamed/ snubbed for their father’s shenanigans.

I don’t think it was anything more than Anne seeing the bishop and moving to greet him.
