Eugenie is profiled in Harper's Bazaar.Interesting that she has metal rods in her back because of scoliosis. My brother had the same surgery when he was a teenager. I've never met anyone else who had scoliosis that severe. |

My BFF from high school had the same surgery. She was in a body cast for 12 weeks.

She seems pretty grounded--as she predicted, I *was* surprised to learn she had a full time job. It appears to be a socialite's job, but it sounds like she's committed to it.

But the fact that I - in a Commonwealth Royal-friendly country - did not know that shows that it wasn't very high profile. No cover pics or stories, no endless blather about a potential royal wedding.

I think their profile has lowered as Kate's star has risen. Also, people aren't stalking Eugenie's wardrobe online to see what she's wearing.

I also think they're kind of average, and I mean that as a compliment--they studied at normal universities, then went to work. I don't know if they're interested in media attention, but they seem to have stayed out of trouble and away from most controversies, other than the occasional fashion choice or little-person staffed party.
