I’m looking at those roots. Madonna is old enough she probably has a decent amount of white hair growing at her part, the same shade as her fake blonde hair. She’d have to dye the roots dark, then dye the rest blond. Her “grow out” would be even more noticeable with white hair growing into dyed dark hair growing into white blond hair. I’m just contemplating the aging process on someone stuck in 80’s. I repeat the comments of how much young Madonna would be appalled by old Madonna. .

There is a new trend these days called shadow roots and maybe that's what Madonna was going for?

She also looks a couple tanning sessions away from twinning with Donatella Versace.

How can it be a new trend when the “growing out roots” has been a fashion at least since the 1980’s. I think Madonna did it for real back then, kind of the trashy “I don’t wear underwear, shave my pits, or bother with getting my hair died on the regular. Bite me.” (Yup, checked it out, dark roots going back to the 80’s)

And isn’t that ombré but in reverse (dark to light ends instead of light to dark ends).

Oh well, I guess flowered bell bottoms and desert boots will be the next fashion....

Absolutely. I think it has become more of a trend with a name in the effort to make people feel better about not going to the hair dresser. They can still keep quarantine and still be trendy.

Yikes. The fake face, the fake ass, the hair, the "sexy" leather getup (yawn)...Madonna is not just a caricature of herself, she is a caricature of the caricature of a badly conceived SNL sketch of who she was in the nineties.
