I think that was on Family Guy and I have never laughed at an FG joke so hard in my life. I was wheezing. Damn, that was funny.

She didn't really grow into her looks. I was watching Mask the other night (the Cher movie not the Jim Carrey one) and Laura plays a blind girl in it. She was probably in her early 20's in it and she was very beautiful.

I like it that she has unconventional looks. I like it even more that she never tried to surgically tweak herself into looking like a million other Hollywood actresses. I'm so sick of them all looking alike that it's refreshing to see someone I really can recognize. So often when I see something I think, "Oh, it's that blond from, um, you know... something. Or maybe it's that other blond from... whatever."

No, she's not a great beauty, but she'll always have a space in my heart for Citizen Ruth. Her performance along with the rest of the movie had me in stitches. She'll always be Ruth Fuchs to me.

I find it interesting that the charisma I suspect she possesses in real life, considering her rather storied dating career, doesn't transfer to the screen very well.
