I don't think she's attractive at all but she gets major points for a) choosing really interesting roles, and b) for not trying to surgery herself into just another Hollywood blonde.

I think she's one of those people that isn't conventionally pretty but that draws your attention, especially in motion. I find her a really compelling actress and she's funny as hell.

I'd describe her as plain. Very plain. In her "Rambling Rose" days, she could look quite cute but now, not so much. I don't think her senior years will be kind. She'll be one of those women described as being "handsome".

I agree. She might end up being an attractive older woman but I've never thought she was pretty. She just seems very awkward, like a gawky country girl - plain is a good description of her. I could never get past that with the roles she's taken. Maybe she'll be the Glenn Close of her generation.
