I think the promo last night said that there was only two episodes left.

I don't mind the sister hooking up with Rafe, because he really seemed mismatched with Mary. Mary is too smart, too driven, and just much sharper than Rafe ever seems to be. I personally think that Marshall is a better match for Mary, but who knows if/when they'll go there, plus I kinda like their dynamic as it is now.

I like their dynamic too (Marshall/Mary). They had that "I care for you too much" convo when he got shot, and hopefully they won't explore that again for a while, or flirt with the Moonlighting/Cheers curse.

And ITA, Rafe and Brandi are better matched: I just want the back-and-forth to be over. Although not the season: I really look forward to it every week. I like that Mary's rough, has bad posture, a real-ish figure, is cranky, doesn't play well with others, ... all the good stuff.

Does anyone think Paul Ben-Victor's character is odd? Maybe for me it's just such an abrupt turn from his role on The Wire... now he's all bumbling and mismanaging... I keep waiting for him to order assassinations.

Did they actually hook up? I'll admit, I was only half paying attention at that point, but it looked like she was just lying next to him.

I, too, would like a resolution to that whole lame love triangle thing -- hasn't it happened at least a few times where Mary sucks it up, decides to come back and make nice with Rafe, sister interferes in some way, Mary huffs off?

Hot cop is awesome, and he has wicked good chemistry with Mary.

Anyone else catch the latest episode last night (if you were watching the Olympics, USA has it on their website)?

Honestly, if Mary murders her sister in the next episode, I think she would be perfectly justified in doing so. I mean, Mary buys her a ticket back to New Jersey and is really nice to her on the way to the airport, and Brandi turns around and sneaks out out of the airport and heads to Mary's boyfriend's house, where Mary finds her asleep with her head in Rafe's lap. Even if they aren't sleeping together, Brandi has totally crossed the line. Then she finds out that Mary has been kidnapped and her life is in danger (all because of HER), and she still holds back information from Marshall and the FBI. Mary's mother is effed up, and that scene where she basically blamed Mary for her crappy life was way out of line, but I don't think her mother would ever do what Brandi did to her. Brandi sucks.

At least the people Mary works with don't crap on her. Stan, Marshall and Hot Cop were all wonderful.

Mary would definitely be justified. Brandi was incredibly stupid last night. Just when I had an inkling of empathy for her after rescuing the baby, she stomps that into the ground with last night's actions. Mary would have died if it were not for that 2nd gun. Brandi's an idiot. She'll probably go into WITSEC. That's the only solution I see for this situation.

I think Mary's Mom spoke a bit of truth, but she loves Mary. She would never jeopardize Mary's life and livelihood like Brandi did. I think for the first time Mary saw her mom the way she used to be before her father's abandonment broke her. Just my 2 cent psychoanalyzing.

Brandi is such a selfish little spoiled brat. Her sister got kidnapped and almost got raped and murdered because of her, not to mention the damage she might've caused to Mary's career by having that suitcase full of smack in her house. If I were Mary I'd dropkick Brandi straight to the curb and cut her off completely. Jinx may be an immature idiot but she at least would never intentionally endanger Mary that way.

I couldn't fucking believe that Brandi didn't tell the FBI guy who was grilling her while the clock was ticking down. If I were Mary, Brandi would be dead to me.

But, I'm kind of glad that the show had the balls to have Brandi do that.
