It is not bad at all. Outside of The Kings Speech, what decent movies has she been in that weren't her husbands these days? I just checked and she is the same age as me. She looks good for her age. Thought she was great in the Harry Potter movies. I thought she also good in Les Miserables. |

She got nominated for an Oscar for Wings of the Dove, which wasn't a Burton-Depp-BC production. I agree it will be better for movie-kind if we don't have to endure this combo anymore.

I don't think it's a coincidence that Big Eyes looks to be Burton's best movie since Big Fish and neither Johnny nor Helena is in it.

I still liked her in Big Fish, which had no Depp but still was Burton. Big Fish is one of my favs period though.

I think Helena was in so many of her husband's films because it allowed her to maintain a career while raising children (and still have the family together). I am making a big assumption here, but I am assuming Helena assumed more of the parental duties while Burton continued his directing career.

They didn't live together, they lived next door to each other. Tim needs his space, something like that. If I had to put money on it, I'd say the kids lived in Helena's house. |
