I liked this episode, too--and the father/son dynamic is still my favorite. Walter's just so nuts, how can you not love him? And he makes his own pharmeceuticals! LOL!
The end was another WTF is going on, but in a good way. I have no idea who is the "good guy" and who's the "bad guy."
As to FOX pulling the plug, the ratings were down from last week, but it won the demos war, so I'm hopeful this show is going to be around for awhile.

I'm really wondering who's after Peter and why, though - that dude with the camera said something about him "checking in when he got home", or whatever. Yay! I hope you're right, scarlet! They're already talking about pulling the plug on Prison Break and Terminator: TSCC, so I'm trying not to get too attached, just in case.

No, not Terminator!
Damn it, I love that show!
I only like a handful of shows. They're not allowed to cancel my shows!

They're not allowed to cancel my shows! Firefly, Brimstone, Harsh Realm, Drive… (You're welcome to join us in the Terminator thread, BTW!)

I hate that it's filmed in NYC but set in Boston. They didn't even try to make South Station look like South Station. They film so many shows in NYC already, but we can't even have one? Not even one that's freakin' set here? Bah.
Other than that I'm loving it. I wasn't a Dawson's Creek watcher so I have nothing else to compare to but I'm digging Joshua Jackson.

I hate that it's filmed in NYC but set in Boston. Didn't they also shoot some of it in Toronto? I seem to remember some people saying they'd recognized some buildings from there. How funny that the snow from the pilot is already completely gone, especially since there couldn't have been that much time between John's death and his funeral. ETA: Huh... now that I think about it... how come they had a funeral when Creepy Lady still has the body?

Yeah, they shot the pilot in Toronto and now they've moved filming to NYC because of the tax breaks they offered. I've never been to Boston, so nothing involving locales bugs me, but I could imagine Bostonians would be like "huh?" or more, aptly, perhaps "bah!"
Yeah, good question.

When I'm in LA, I live in Pasadena, which is the exterior scene capital of the world, because the architecture there can play as East Coast, MidWest, or West Coast, depending on where you film. It's the rare movie or TV show that doesn't eventually give me shots that I recognize from walking or driving past them everyday. Which is really good for the tax base of Pasadena, but really really annoying when film sets have entire chunks of the city shut down.

They did one or two exteriors in the pilot here (I recognized my brother's old dorm building) but other than that? Toronto and NYC. There's hardly ever any shows set here and they're never filmed here. It's a peeve I have.

The way Agent Blonde Chick speaks in a constant whisper is really starting to bug.
