It's unfortunate that when people start feeling better and more stable on their meds, some will decide that they no longer need them. Then the cycle begins again.

"No Man's Woman" is one of my mainstays for stress relief. Here's hoping Ms. O'Connor stays safe from now on. In college, one of my guy friends came over to use my computer and No Man's Woman was on the playlist I had at the time. He ended up replaying that song like five times because he just loved the sound it. I have tremendous sympathy for both Sinead and her family. I hope Sinead and her doctors find the best possible treatment for her current decompensation. And I hope for some peace for her loved ones too. I used to work with people who where involuntarily committed (5150'ed people and conservatees), and you could see their families under tremendous stress. In a lot of cases, I couldn't really blame some of those family members for not being able to deal after years of erratic or destructive behavior.

I read that this is actually more likely for people with certain diagnoses, like it's wired in their brains more than the average person (who might quit their antibiotics early, for example).
