On Jimmy Fallon, she said her accent was a combination of living in the States for 10 yrs plus what was left over from her NZ accent.

Thanks for the info on about her teeth. Never seen the show, I just read the thread. I like the gap.

I like the gap too. It distinguishes her from the other blonde actresses in her age group, even though she is not a natural blonde.

The age difference between a 27 year old and 39 year old isn't that startling, but I was surprised to read that he has 2 kids. I was also surprised to learn that he wasn't married to the mom of those two kids. Not that it matters to me, but I wondered how he finally decided on marriage with Paquin but had not seemed to consider it with the mother of the 2 kids. I know people have their own reasons for how relationships work out and it's their own business how they chose to do things, but I just found it sort of interesting that he had had 2 kids with another woman, never seemed to entertain the idea of an engagement with her, and now has decided on a proposal to Paquin. If he had 2 kids with her, and not just one (which could have been a "surprise") then I suppose my automatic assumption was that it was a strongly committed relationship at one point that could have led to marriage. And since he has proposed to Paquin, then it doesn't seem like he's opposed to marriage either (which seems to be the case with some couples who choose not to marry despite having more than 1 kid together). Maybe some men really aren't interested in getting married until 40?
On another note, I still sometimes think of Paquin as that little kid who won the Oscar. So when she talks about having sex, it weirds me out a bit. I realize she's grown up now, but that image of her as a kid is still so strong in my head.

I'm no expert on men but I believe when a man decides to marry, he marries the woman he's with. Not the other way around (loves a woman so much he decides to marry her)
Topic: she's hot!

Tell me about it. When I read she was engaged I was thinking, "She's 19! What is she doing?"
I also give them about two years.

Oh I completely believe this! Charlotte's "men are like taxi cabs" theory from Sex & The City.
On Topic: I agree its a bit odd he is rushing to marry her and if they break up it does not bode well for the continued success of the show!
