Joking in the queue or in the interview? Sounds more to me like she was owning it, and quite pleased with herself.

Wow, reading back a few pages, this is one self-important cow. Bragging about jumping queues and disrespecting the people around you is not an admirable trait. I hope she pulls that shit in front of the wrong kind of crowd, then she won't need to rely on Housewives for a knock-down fight. Ugly person. I wonder if this is true, or was she joking around? I have said something similar, joking around, but if anyone overheard it they might think I was serious. I wish I could hear the tone in which she said it to know. Frankly, I don't care and I don't mean that in a snarky way. Knowing Taraji's personality, she joked and laughed with everyone as she played the famous card and no one cared. I wouldn't have been upset if it happened to me because I've played the "I know the manager card" before. We all have in some situation. Also, I've never heard anything but stellar comments about her from her peers. Everyone is so elated that she's finally getting the success she deserves.

I've never heard of TPH being a bitch or a snob. I think she meant that in a joking way. I love Empire but I am not the biggest Cookie fan. Girlfriend doesn't think before she acts.

I think she's pretty humble as far as celebs go. I saw a radio interview where she was sad that she can no longer go to the ghetto to get certain groceries anymore because of how the show has blown up.

I'm glad she's finally getting recognition because of how Person of Interest basically fucked her in the ass (yeah, I said it).

I think those are interesting things she's saying (regarding racial profiling on predominately white campuses and how many projects Hollywood launches with emerging white talent) and I'm personally glad she's not doing polite interviews with bland soundbites. The show is popular and with success some actors allow themselves to be censored to appease a bland mass market. Keep on keeping on Taraji.

Keeping in mind high-profile cases such as Trayvon Martin, Mike Brown in Ferguson, and Eric Garner in Staten Island, I'd hope that she wouldn't get too much flak (from the general public) for expressing concern over having her son being racially profiled; it's a legitimate fear. I see what you're saying though. Taraji first caught my eye on The Division. She's gorgeous.

Well this is interesting. The video of the "racial profiling" incident she discussed in the interview was released and disproves what she said. Her version: The LA Times found the 40-minute video. The synopsis at Oh No They Didn't Taraji should probably have been a little skeptical about what her little boy told her when he asked her for money to pay his fine. BTW, I *love* when people get pulled over for plowing through crosswalks when people are trying to cross. I wish they'd given him a ticket for that.
