I have a question, what the hell are actors snorting when they're supposed to be snorting cocaine? Clearly they've moved past interesting camera shots. Is it baking soda? This has bugged me for ages. I was secretly glad Cole took back the truck. Kenny's 1/2 asshole and 1/2 fun, but the funeral ep made him more 95% asshole. And I don't like to even think of Stevie HAVING a sex life. Gross. I also wondered how heavy the DJ Blu-Ray's Russian hat was.  |

I enjoyed seeing Seth Rogen get hit by a truck.
I didn't think it was possible to make Stevie any more creepy then shaving his head but the wigs and the crazy eyebrows proved me wrong.
I am guessing Kenny's death fake-out was to leave the door open for the show to come back another season. But I think if that really was the series finale it was almost perfect. The fake-out was a little bit cheap but it was also classic Kenny. Ridiculous, pointless and thoughtless but also hilarious. Even though he didn't deserve it I am glad he got his happy ending.

I loved his confusion and recognition when April said he could have stayed in the majors and her and Toby just moved up there. You know he was like, Shit, yeah, we could have...no, too late now, I fucked that up! I just love Kenny Powers, and I'm happy that he got his happy ending. I think it's the end of the show for good.

I think the actors/writers mentioned in an interview they had always enjoyed the British style of television, and had never planned to write past three seasons.

I agree that that was a pretty awesome ending. I remember reading that HBO wanted McBride to do another season. His blond wig at the end was so bad! It got a little cartoony in the last season, but it was still fun. I love that Kenny would drop things like the Criteron Collection, something a guy like Kenny would know nothing about. A thing of beauty. |

The only part I did not love about the finale was that Will Ferrell's horrible (as in badly written and acted) character lived after being burned.
I will miss Kenny Powers. I will miss him a fuck-ton.

Coming back for another season. On one hand, I love the show so I am happy it is coming back. On the other hand I thought the season 3 finale made a great series finale as well. I don't think it is in the article that I linked to, but I read somewhere that when it comes back they are going to jump a few years a head.
