I can so identify with what may have been NR's urge to just "go about your business." In my family, you don't go to the doctor or hospital unless some body part is falling off, you're actively having a seizure or are unconscious, or you're vomiting hop-toads or whatever. If this was an epidural hematoma, as CNN mentioned, it's such a shame. It does sound like it turned pretty dire very fast.

I also think they'd make a statement if things weren't so bad. It sure shows you how fast life can change. It made the three major network evening newscasts. I've been a Liam fan since Excalibur. I feel terrible for him and their sons.

I just finished watching a couple of the entertainment news shows. I think the worst may be true because all of these shows were very respectful and went with the official "unknown" as her condition. Each segment was very very short. I think if she were alive and just sedated, they would have been all in her business. But I'm sure they know exactly what's wrong and as part of the "Hollywood community", they won't report until the family says "go".

*sigh*
Well, that's just too bad. I had hoped it would be a better outcome. I hope that the family will be able to heal from this and get some closure with it all. It's never easy to lose a family member and I'm sure it's extremely hard with being in the spotlight.
Hopefully, the statement that'll be release will put an end to any rumors and they'll be able to grieve privately.

That' so sad. I hope that her family will be able to grieve in relative peace.

I probably would have done exactly the same thing. What a senseless, freak tragedy.

Terribly sad. It's frightening to think something so casual could cause such a devastating injury.
