What kind of world do we live in where Shannon Elizabeth gets her own thread but Hank Azaria has been shunned?

I love seeing him capering around in the background of my movies (where he always get stuck), especially as an extremely gay "maid" in The Birdcage. Although I might never be able to forgive him for making me go see America's Sweethearts. Talk about testing you love.

He recently did an interview with Debra Messing that really cracked me up.

How did you get in shape for this role?
HANK AZARIA: That took about seven or eight weeks to get in that kind of shape. Every few years Hollywood asks me to be some version of a naked foreigner, and I'm very happy to oblige.

With very little screen time, how do you make your characters memorable?
HANK AZARIA: I showed my butt. That's how I decided to go.

Unfortunately, my admiration for his amazing talent will be forever tempered by my experiences running into him and Matthew Perry trolling for women at the Yankee Doodles on the Third Street Promenade way back in the early 90s.

If you live in NYC, go see Spamalot! I saw it here in Chicago before it went to Broadway. It was fantastic, and Hank was really great as Lancelot.

SuzyP, I saw Spamalot in Chicago, too! Wasn't it a hoot? And I lurve lurve lurve Hank. Besides being talented in both drama and comedy, he's got gorgeous eyes.

I just saw him in Great Expectations. He had the role of a WASP ass who is courting Gwyneth Paltrow's Estella. It was a small dramatic role that was perfectly done. You could see where his privledged indifference would finally do Estella's meaness in. They deserved each other.

BTW---what was the story behind the breakup with Helen Hunt? They live together for years. They get married and break up and divorce within a year. They knew each other. What happened?
