Aaaand now I'm sick of Darren Criss. Sick of the high water pants and bow ties. Sick of his oil slick hair. Sick of him singing half the songs in every episode. Remember when he was a supporting character? That was nice. This whole season was supposed to be about the graduating students and they all get pushed to the B plots so Blaine and Brother can work out the optimal amount of fraternal praise needed by 4 year olds? Feh.

I never want to hear that Up Up Up song again. Who recorded that? Is that an actual song? 'Cause it was balls.

I hope they give Quinn an episode to really rage about her situation. Just as long as she doesn't sing.

And what was up with Puck telling Finn he could be an actor? Since when has Finn ever shown an interest in acting? Artie wants to be a director, too, and Mike Chang lives for The Dance and the rest are all "Music is my LIFE, Mr. Shue!" The hell. I went to a high school with a really respected performing arts program and maybe 2% of the kids in drama, music, and choir went on to major in that stuff at college. Lots of teenagers are great musicians, singers, or dancers but they actually have more than one interest. They dance and want to become doctors. They're fantastic guitarists but love computer programming. The show would be a lot more interesting if it dealt more with "high school kids who sing" rather than "singers who usually forget they're in school".

Saw a clip on Tumblr with Blaine from this episode and that scene with Blaine in the shower last far longer than it should have. Really, Murphy? We get it. You're in love with Darren Criss. Jesus.

So glad I didn't waste my time to watch the show. It sounds like it's getting worse every time it's on!

Yep, and because of Murphy's obsession with Criss we hardly get any storyline for the outgoing seniors like Puck, Quinn and Mike. I don't get everyone's love on for Criss, he is talented yes but he won't be enough to base an entire show around.

Yep, and because of Murphy's obsession with Criss we hardly get any storyline for the outgoing seniors like Puck, Quinn and Mike. I don't get everyone's love on for Criss, he is talented yes but he won't be enough to base an entire show around.

I reached my saturation point of Murphy's love for Criss when they did something actually offensive-from my perspective anyway-and flipped from Blaine singing to Karofsky's suicide attempt. IF they wanted someone singing over it, okay, fine its Glee, but the lead up to and attempt of suicide should have taken priority over someone mugging for the camera while singing.

I gave up - I actually started catching up via Hulu a few weeks ago and then wrote an angry blog rant about how it fails so often at being a musical (a genre where characters sing to express things they can't otherwise whereas here, 90% of the time, it's these Idolesque stagey numbers or merely a "hey, this song is popular!" or "hey, let's recreate this video!") - but did they really give "Somebody That I Used To Know" to two brothers? Because that's kinda weird. It's *the* break-up song of the moment, the one that finally displaced Adele on that front.

Matt Bomer was on Glee? Damn. And his name was Cooper Anderson? Love it! I haven't watched Glee forever but I want to see this episode.

I didn't watch Glee this week but looks like I didn't miss anything (except Matt Bomer's pretty face). Oh, the Duran Duran mashup was a mess! Ugh, I hate when Glee ruins songs that were so good to begin with.

The episode is showing right now on my direct tv. This just reinforces how much I adore Bomer and also why I don't watch Glee anymore. I had to mute everything except the Cooper scenes. Master class just cracked me right up. Wanders off to watch White Collar.

I stopped watching after the Christmas special episode, but a lot of people I know quit over the Karofsky suicide episode. Tom and Lorenzo went on a big-ass Glee rant then quit recapping it... and I can't remember which blog it was, but another big one stopped after that episode as well. It really pissed off a lot of folks.
