I don't believe they are together either. He's said in interviews he doesn't want the Lindsay Lohan paparazzi coverage, and dating a reality star would mean that type of pap coverage. Now, he might have slept with her, but that's different from dating.

Though from that video she appears to be a dumbass or at least sound like one so I can see her thinking it would be a relationship and telling everyone and their mama that they are "official" or at least she has enough sense to know that this would bring her some kind of attention.

Chris Pine is clearly not the son of Erik Estrada, so I was all, "He's the son of the white guy from CHiPs?!" until I looked it up.

Ah, enlightenment. He's the son of that other guy from CHiPs. I didn't watch enough CHiPs to know who that is.

Despite Karl Urban's permanent association in my mind with Eomer Bitchface, I consider Karl hotter. Perhaps one day it'll click and I'll start finding Chris Pine attractive, but I think he's weird-looking--he looks like some kind of space alien to me.

I'm confused. According to Wikipedia, MIchael Weatherly was born in 1968. Chris Pine was born in 1980.

Seriously though, Pine can date anyone he wants, but I'm still just blown away at how well he pulled off the Kirk role. I grew up watching Trek and this might sound like a weird thing to say about one of its most iconic characters, but Kirk was never one of my favorite characters at all. I was entertained by him but I didn't really like him, you know? (Part of this may be that I was tainted by hearing too many stories of Shatner being a complete dick to the entire rest of the cast.)

Anyway, what kind of amazes me is that Pine totally owned all of Kirk's dislikable qualities in his performance, but still made it so that I could actually emotionally get behind the character. And, he made it look so easy and natural, despite the fact that if he screwed up the fans would be calling for his head.

I sooooo need a sequel to this movie, immediately.

Mutagen I'm so with you on Pine doing a great job as Kirk. As played by the Shat, Kirk was my least favorite character on Trek, yet Pine managed to make me like his version quite a bit.

I would also like to add that Karl Urban is sex on a stick and I loved him as Bones.
