Just saw it. I laughed a lot, which is rare for me in movies like this. Zach Galifianakis made it for me. He did a great "Between Two Ferns" with Bradley Cooper, which is available online.

I laughed a few times, but I wasn't really that impressed overall. Bradley Cooper looked so freakin' fine that it didn't even matter, though. I can still picture him standing there dressed all in black, sleeves pushed up... damn, I still can't believe I'm crushing on the guy from Wedding Crashers. I didn't care for The Dan Band playing at the end during the wedding reception. Maybe I would have thought it was funnier if it wasn't already done in Old School.ETA: Fixed the spoiler tags (hopefully)

About the Dan Band....I think that was the whole point, since The Hangover was made/directed by the same guy that did Old School. It was a total shout out.

That makes sense; guess I just didn't think it was as funny as it was in Old School. And at least now I know why the guy in the elevator (the director) looked so familiar to me ... he was the same guy that showed up for the gang bang in Old School.

I may go see this again just so I can drool all over again. I just watched him in "I Want to Marry Ryan Banks" and some cowboy movie with Jenny Garth that was complete hooey. My love knows no bounds!

So far I'm the only person I know who didn't almost piss myself laughing at this movie. Am I becoming a jaded old fart? I'll try not to be worried. I finally watched it this weekend. I didn't laugh out loud once. (OK, maybe once, but I think it had something to do with the dentist pulling out his tooth.) It just reminded me of a cross between License to Drive and Dude, Where's My Car? The only thing that kept me going was looking at BC. Too bad he's such a tool in real life. Sigh!

Just saw this. hilarious. I learned years ago to avoid reviews for comedy movies. When I hear something is hilarious it always seems to be a letdown, but when I go into it not expecting much I find things to be much more enjoyable.
I loved it.

I'm part of the "don't get the hype" camp. I LOVED "I Love You, Man" and thought this would be in the same vein. But I found this to be crass, crude, forced, and kinda racist (with all the Asian jokes). I was hoping the entire night would be tightly wrapped in some kind of "aha" plot twist but instead it was just a bunch of random anecdotes. Disappointing for me.
Edited to add: Ed Helms was great but he just played "Andy" from The Office. Poor guy is going to get typecasted!

I really liked this movie - it was on my flight back from London a few months ago (seems random to have on a plane, but I was glad they did). I actually watched it again later on the flight, because there was nothing else on. Really, really funny, and I wouldn't think I'd like that kind of movie.
However, am I the only one who does not find Bradley Cooper attractive? I find him so...smarmy looking. Maybe it's because of this role, and He's Just Not That Into You, but there's just something kind of "off" looking to him about me. Especially his eyes! I know, I'm weird!

Bradley Cooper doesn't do anything for me either. I'm more of an Ed Helms kinda girl, missing tooth and all.
