Can anybody recommend a good drugstore-brand mascara? Is this totally an inappropriate topic for this thread?

I used Maybelline for years but recently switched to Neutrogena (about $8). It's not as clumpy and although both are billed as hypoallergenic, I personally have more success with Neutrogena. Good luck!

velveeta, there's a makeup and fashion thread in the General Interest section of the boards. You might want to look through there to see if anyone talked about inexpensive mascara before. It's a long thread, though.
I've used Almay One-Coat Lengthening for years. It gives me length without clumping.

I've always been happy with L'oreal's.

I really love L'oreal's Telescopic mascara, if you're looking for length. If you're looking for volume, Max Factor's 2000 Calorie mascara is really nice, but on the pricey side for drug-store make up.

Is it possible to fall asleep while getting a tattoo done on your face? Random question, I know. But I was wondering if the teen's story here sounds plausible. Personally I don't see how anyone can fall asleep while a sharp needle is poking into your face repeatedly. Then again, there have been times when I've almost fallen asleep at the dentist, and I suppose some people would think that's strange, too.

I think DListed's assessment was dead on: she got home, daddy pitched a fit, so she decided to deflect blame on someone else. She'll make a good politician someday.
