That is Crane Lake, not sure what the circles are but due to the proximity of the lake to the great sand hills, maybe they have something to do with the odd formations?

Whoo! A name! Yeah, it's got to be a mine of some sort, because most of the links I get when I google it are from the Federal Dept. of Natural Resources or the Sask. Ministry of Energy and Resources. So there you go. But there's got to be another Crane Lake somewhere else in the province, because googling also got me pretty pictures like these. Thanks, Lax and Snowberry!

This seems like an odd question, but - whenever I see old photos (especially from the 60s/70s), it seems like they have a heavier yellow/brown/orange tint than photos of today. Is that simply from aging or is it also the result of a different photo stock?

The blue dyes in photo paper deteriorate more rapidly than the other dyes. The blue layer -- cyan, actually -- is usually found on the bottom, and may be less protected from deterioration than the two other layers closer to the top of the paper, which is resin-coated.

Sorry for the double post, but... Can anyone recommend a chap (equals free) net meeting software which provides voice, text, video and screen-sharing? Microsoft seems to have stripped all the important stuff from their offerings, gotomeeting doesn't have video and Skype has screen-sharing only for Macs.

I just bought a used Magic Bullet blender, but it didn't come with a manual. Does anyone know where I can download the user manual?

Is there a manufacturer website? We bought a bread machine at a yard sale and were able to find the manual for it that way.

I know this should be painfully obvious, but can someone tell me what bb is on ONTD means?

I know this should be painfully obvious, but can someone tell me what bb is on ONTD means? It's usually "baby". Ah, those kids and their inability to spell out complete words
