Yeah, that was some bizarre paranoia about how colleges all lie to you. Hey, I went 30 years ago (ouch), and I managed to sign up for all my requirements without the internet! And really, English is a class these kids desperately need to take. You don't have to even begin to think about your major for quite awhile.
Didn't it feel like Catelyn was trying to butter up that adoption gal and maybe get a job there without any degree? Maybe she thinks she's such a star that she can just slide right into something. If they need to be paranoid about anything it's that Bethany place.
Of course TWOP is raggin all over Maci as usual. I find her so boring most of the time, I can barely pay attention to her story - let alone get so freaked out about the horrors she inflicts on Ryan (I'm still waiting to hear what they are).

I secretly think they screwed for the first time on that trip and she sucked in bed (of course she did!) and that's why she got dumped.) Or, you know, her marriage/engagement ring/wedding dress talk when they were dating, what, a month or six weeks? (I think Daniel said it when he was talking to his friend.) Cree. PEE! But Daniel shoulda just said, "Dude. You cray. Go back to FL on your own." What a passive-aggressive a-hole. I wish I woulda saved that episode just so I could watch that crap all over again and giggle my face off. Farrah, you dumb.

Haha! Yes, the "I want a commitment NOW!" stuff was probably more responsible for scaring him off, in the long run. But perhaps the bad sex was what made it so urgent. I think most people would have returned to Florida (together) before dropping the bomb. But what does a lone bird like me know anyway??

I'm totally gonna start saying "Loneeee Bird!". It's awesome.
I enjoyed these gals way more than I should have, and I'm going to be sad when they're gone. But really, paying these chicks hundreds of thousands of dollars completely defeats the purpose of the show. It made this teen mom thing look kind of awesome. Amber can load up on all the eyelashes and pink piercings in the world, stagger around zoned out on every drug out there, and then wander over to an expensive home and decide if she might actually like to live there - where she would proceed to lie down under blankets and bitch about her life. What's not to love about that lifestyle?

Seeing that I've turned a corner and feel sorry for Amber this shouldn't have made me laugh....but it did!! I guess I'm not all the way turned around.
So is the dislike on TWOP solely based on Ryan lust? I don't get it. The last episode was a perfect example of the contrast between Maci and, say, Amber. Ryan texts Maci a message full of insults and a threat to take her to court, and Maci responds rather calmly.....because she knows that Ryan is a dumbass, and she also knows that deep down he knows he's a dumbass and isn't going to do shit.
Imagine this scenario with Amber. She'd be screaming and cursing and wheezing and sobbing about Gary trying to take away her BA-BEEEEE!
Maci was also responsible about deciding to buy a small, affordable home appropriate for a couple with a small child after having seen a ridiculous McMansion with the ridiculous price tag along with it. Amber OTOH is all ready to sign the papers on the first house she sees because it's "nice" and has "great views." Who is this so-called friend she's suddenly hanging out with all the time anyway? I don't recall ever seeing her before.
Apparently Farrah is living in The Bachelor timeline. Maybe that should be her next stop now that Teen Mom is over. With her unrealistic demands and expectations she'd fit right in on that show.
The thing with Catelynn and Tyler looked like nothing more than last minute college jitters to me (a couple of my daughter's friends are pulling the same crap -- "Maybe I shouldn't go to this school. Maybe I shouldn't take these classes. Maybe I should - wait for it! - take a year off.") I'm sure once Catelynn and Tyler finally get on with it they'll be fine.

Hee, Amber's "wheezing". I'm apparently in the shallow snarking pool about the mentally ill inmate as well.
Before it got deleted (not seen on the show!), someone said on TWOP that Tyler had/has a movie role ... that's where that last minute fiction about dropping out of school came from.
I don't know, most of the comments about "Poor Ryan and Dalis" do feel like a bunch of fan girls. Maybe Ryan's the one who needs a movie part. But I think he'd need to attend some preschool with Bintley first to learn how to speak. I don't know, it's a thinker to me. Maci seems like a sensible girl who just wants to be able to talk to the father of her baby (not that he can talk back at all). And now someone's bitching about how Bintley is a "mama's boy", and Maci is ruining him that way too. Who are these people? I go over there and read, and I'm always wondering if they're high schoolers or something?

I looked it up and apparently Catelynn and Tyler went to New Orleans for a month so Tyler could pursue an acting career, though there's no mention of what exactly he was acting in. Didn't Jessica Simpson film all her shitty B movies in Louisiana somewhere? Yeah, Tyler's movie might be one those. Buy hey, who wouldn't stop their lives to go star in an awful movie if they were given the chance to, right? Right?? Ugh. Let's hope these two keep their heads on straight.

I think Farrah's boyfriend just got tired of her. He probably went into the "relationship" thinking, well, she's hot enough and I'll be on MTV. Then when he had to spend all that uninterrupted time with her in Austin, he realized how insufferable, shallow, and stupid she is. She was an insensitive bitch to his stepmom with the "lone bird" comment (the sad part is, I don't think she even realized how rude she was being), and then she was over-the-top desperate in the shopping and paddle boating scenes where she was talking about getting engaged. The guy literally looked like he was going to kill himself; he couldn't even feign interest in her for the cameras anymore. I'm sure the whole trip to Austin was orchestrated by the Teen Mom producers. I would feel sorry for her if she weren't just so horrible.

Well, I really hope that Catelyn and Tyler take time apart from each other. There are rare examples of it working, but I think everyone needs to get out and live life, date other people, have complete independence, before settling down with someone they've been with since grade school! And Tyler seems to be itching to get away from Catelyn constantly flopping on his lap. He's a cute, sweet boy on a popular show. I'm sure he knows that girls want to get at him. Better to do it earlier rather than later. If they're still good for each other, they can find each other again.
I guess the story is that Farrah was so awful on that Texas trip, she was even really rude to some fast food worker. That sounds about right. I kinda feel sorry for Daniel. The editing wasn't too clear on what the hell happened there, and I can imagine you'd want to get your story out if you were portrayed as just dumping some loony chick, and then she starts trashing you. Apparently he broke up with her, and then had a friend take her back to the hotel. He didn't just never go back again and not tell her why. I guess MTV wants to send all the girls out with a fairly decent edit. They certainly are working overtime to make Amber look awake/human/sane (it ain't workin').

Amber's collapse whilst arguing (of course) over the phone (of course) with Geerry was super-believable, you guys.
