Wallaby on the Loose in North of Ireland after escaping enclosure is a sentence I didn’t expect to write to be honest. We’ve had a bit of Aus like weather so anything is possible I guess. I hope they find the poor animal our general countryside would very different for it not to mention our usual weather.

OMG, we had a wallaby get loose in our neighborhood. He was recaptured unharmed. Some dumb ass rapper wanna be owns him. There were posts for days: “Why is a tiny kangaroo in my backyard?” A woman with experience trapping lost dogs finally nabbed him.
I do not live in the wallaby’s native habitat.
I really wish people wouldn’t own exotic pets.

I know exotic pet ownership can be weird at best and downright cruel at worst, but Heaven help me, I cannot get enough of the exotic animal escape stories. I would watch movies about the random person who happens along and manages to capture the animal before it gets to the highway or whatever. Llamas in Phoenix, zebras in Chicago...I'm here for it!!!

Missing Wallaby “Winnie”found safe and sound after three days on the run, We couldn’t be happier, and can whole heartedly assure you Winnie is none the worse after the great escape.
Edit It’s more good and less weird news now

This came up in my twitter feed today: Inside the World of Leg LengtheningThis involves having your legs surgically broken to make you 3 to 6 inches taller. Apparently many rich tech guys have chosen to do this during COVID. I can't even. But, to be honest, I'm a little smug - my husband and I are exactly the same height, 5'8" BUT I'm the shortest person in my family by far while his family is all about the same height. Our kids inherited their height from my side; my daughter is 5'10" and our two sons are both over 6'.

Wasn’t this a plot on Grey’s Anatomy and in order to fix the damage, he ended up shorter than when he started?

Our kids inherited their height from my side; my daughter is 5'10" and our two sons are both over 6'. As of our last pediatrician visit, I am now the shortest person in my family. All kids are taller than me - and it's strange because I was the tallest of the 3 sisters, same height as my mom and not used to not being taller than someone in my home!

mrspickles, I'm now taller than my mom, but only because she's shrunk. I am used to not being taller than people in my home! I'm sure you're still taller than me, if that helps.
