I'm going to miss this show, but I am not going to miss Sean's "funny" Spanish accent, which I just find racist. Last week and tonight's episode both feature him saying Spanish words. Badly. Very badly.

I find his funny accent tiresome because we've heard it so, so much but he gets a generic pass from me about it because his Spanish in the telenovela episode wasn't terrible and the actor is half Mexican, so I've explained it to myself as "an inside joke I don't really get, unless there's not much *to* get." Relatedly, if one of my friends hadn't been a Timothy Omundson superfan, I wouldn't have known that the name of Lassie's baby was also the Omundson's daughter's name. And the baby in the foodwrapper was just too adorably funny.
I am going to miss this show like crazy, but I think they're going out really well. I'm just bracing myself for the final episode when Gus and Shawn have to split up (OR DO THEY?)

Chonies beat me to it, but yeah, James Roday (Sean's) real name is James Rodriguez and his dad is of Mexican decent.
I love the show and I am a full season behind. I saw the all singing all dancing episode, but am waiting for hubs to watch with me for the rest. It's the only "our show" since 30 Rock went off the air.

I did not know that James Roday is half Mexican; that does help re: his character's Spanish accent. The accent combined with the self centeredness and immaturity seemed very disrespectful. I'll accept it as some sort of inside joke as well. And nice to hear about the Lassie/Ormundson baby girl's name. I wonder if a Sean/Jules baby might be named Pina (pinapple, in Spanish).
(and my tilda disappeared, should be one over that 'n')

Gah! Penultimate episode! And I didn't get most of it because I don't watch horror! But the general themes were alternately naughty and poignant, and I'm going to be really sad next week.

I loved the finale with all its consistent goofiness (wait, did this air? Why is it online?). OK never mind, I won't mention it except to say it's typical, wacky Psych. I think fans will be satisfied.
Also, 8 years fly by when you're having fun! By the end the leads were friends, directors & producers, and overall it seemed like a very pleasant set to work on.

I totally thought it had it aired already, since I'm usually a few weeks off anyway. But uh, yeah, watched it today so it's definitely out there. If I'd checked the date I probably would've waited to watch it live.
