Yay, new episode tonight!
It's called "He Dead" and guest stars Christine Baranski and Rachael Leigh Cook.
I am a HUGE Baranski fan - can't wait to see how she is going to interact with Shawn and Gus!

So much love for this show. Does anyone remember this bit of awesomeness?

That is one of my all-time favorite promo spots for any TV show! So funny! Semi-related: I was getting kind of tired at the end of my run this morning, and to pump myself up, I thought "Usain Bolt!" in Shawn's voice...it worked

Haha, so funny!
BTW, how does Christine Baranski always get the best lines? She is hysterical! Such a good, dry delivery. Loved how she went toe-to-toe with Shawn.
Loved the whole episode... and a good mystery, too. I definitely didn't figure out who the killer was til the very end.

Anybody watch the WTF mess that was last night's show? My brother texted me halfway through, asking, "Are they trying to get cancelled?". I tried to text him back, but don't really know how to text, so I phoned him at the commercial break to ask if this was supposed to be a Scooby-do ripoff. He texted me later, "Scooby-Don't!". And that was the most interesting, funny stuff to happen during that hour. Sure, the writing has gone downhill, but what was that weirdly, sepia toned mess? My mom thinks something happened and they had to air an episode they'd shelved. She slept through last night's show.

Oh, good. I thought it was me. I was so not interested in this mess. I did lol, though, at "you can kiss my blacksmith ass", but that was it.

That's funny because I said the same thing to my husband during the show. Although even though the story was crappy, it was still a fun show to watch for Shawn and Gus. I admittedly wasn't paying much attention; were there any "psychic relevations" at all? You can usually count on at least one.

I got a "contract negotiation" vibe from the episode--the show was all about Lassiter, and not in an especially rewarding or amusing way, kind of like the earlier Monk episodes where the writers were trying to give Sharona a higher profile. Shawn and Gus were good together, but their interaction with other characters seemed a bit flat to me. I did like the "unless there are some flowers up in their attic" line, especially.

I couldn't get through last night's episode. I don't why, but this season has felt super-flat to me so far! I'm so bored with the whole "Jules and Sean" stuff.

I don't why, but this season has felt super-flat to me so far! Me too. Although, the "flowers in the attic" line from last night was win times 10. Also? I must have these bobbleheads.
