Yowsa. That's just a darn shame.
Lisa Loeb had a daughter on Sunday: Lyla Rose Loeb Hershkovitz. I don't mind it. I guess it's a good compromise if you loooove Lola but don't want to use an uber-common name.

Oh, I love the name Lila (not sure about the spelling of Lyla though). My best friend is pregnant and that was in the running for a long time but just got knocked out.

See, now if they spelled Larryanna as Lariana, it would be pretty and not so, uh, double-wide.
How do you pronounce JaeRellen? Jay-rellen or Jare-len or Jare-ellen? It actually sounds like a na exotic new fruit.
I just came across Jayannth in my paper's Letters to Santa. Also saw girls named Mistaya and Josilin and in obits I came across Hazen and Rhody (don't know if these are girls or boys). In one obit, a list of the grandchildren included Nevin, Trayton, Marek, Olen, Sy and Sage. Oy.

At least Marek is a real name, mostly used in Eastern European countries. As is Sage, while it wouldn't be a name I'd use for a kid, it is a name. The rest though? Big Oy!

Marek is very nice. And Olen is Norse, I think.

My people! I love the name Marek, too.

Producer Rodney Jerkins and his wife Joy named their new daughter Heavenly Joy.
And Jermaine Jackson has another son named Jafar.
And my cousin Larry named his daughter Larryana as well. I also prefer the Lariana spelling because at least your daughter isn't named Larry!

Heavenly Joy Jerkins? Ay yi yi. That's horrendous.
Not a big fan of Lucille, either. I don't usually prefer nicknames to names, but in the case of Lucy/Lucille, I'd totally go with the nickname.
