Matt Paxton almost never wears breathing apparatus in those houses and I've often worried about hantavirus. Most of the places they feature are just covered in rodent waste.
I feel really hopeful for Patty, though I think long term she'd be better off in a new house that didn't have all those bad memories. And is gay marriage legal in North Dakota?
Debra seemed terribly mentally ill, one of the sickest people they've ever had. My mouth fell open when she said she'd worked the graveyard shift for 21 years! That plus the nonstop shopping and all the hoarding and you've got a woman who really, really wanted to stay as far away from her family as possible.

Patty was sweet. Debra was a pill. I don't know why the husban didn't divorce her a while ago. Their sons look old enough to either be in college or start leaving for college by now. (And why were those four strapping young men crammed into one bedroom with two bunk beds? Was their house that small?)

Maybe now things can get spaced out better? But not before Debra has it TOTALLY re-remodeled. I understand that she has a serious sickness and all, but she also was chronically negative. That's seriously rough. |

Seriously....she was SO depressing I almost had to turn it off. But I loved Patty, so I stuck with it. Debra actually said on NATIONAL TV that she didn't want boys...and yet she had FOUR of them. I SO wanted to see the daughter.
All and all, I really messed up family. I feel for her kids.

Highlights included: a van filled with hantavirus-infested garbage, the hoarder tweeting Donald Trump to complain they were being oppressed by the city, a son who looked as old as his elderly father, the hoarder trying to store her garbage in her neighbors' yards, expired Mountain Dew being given to animals because "they love it!", the clean-up expert breaking down and needing to be consoled by the psychologist.
The main demerit was no Matt Paxton. He would've had a field day.
