Some TWOP poster "I hate that people are trying to make "cis-" a thing. You don't need a qualifier for a someone who is a woman or a man. You need "trans-" because biologically you're still the gender you were born with."

It's very annoying! They're all ganging up on Nene, and now Porsha. They LOVE Kenya, and excuse everything that she does. I don't get it. RHoOC thread has some cruel posts about a toddler. The kid's name is Troy and a poster has started calling him Troll.
People keeping chiming in that they agree that the child is ugly.Really, people? He's a 2 year old or whatever his age.
There is so much crap on that show to snark about why pick on a child who was in one scene. It just seems people are mean to be mean, nothing funny just, "he's ugly". Unless the name Troll is suppose to be funny.
These are grown women who talk about having grown children and careers. And bash howives for being cruel and bulling each other. And yet they think nothing of picking apart the looks of a toddler. Sorry, I saw that and it made me a crazy.

Unfortunately, jvegg, I can believe it. I haven't seen that show or been to that thread, but I bet the 2 year old didn't choose to be on the show, not that 2 year olds understand that sort of thing and can consent to it. It is too bad that TWOP is such a rabid bunch that children aren't understood to be off limits.

Damn. Am I dense for thinking that small children can't be ugly? I can't think of a single baby or toddler I have met over the years that I thought was fug. Strong features don't really come out until 9-14ish, when they hit that super awesome awkward phase, and even then it's sort of hilarious and endearing to see a kid going through that.

I love showing my kids those awkward phase pics of them at age 9/10/11/12, lol. They don't find it as funny as I do.

I don't think everyone has to love kids and I get it some might think the kid is not the cutest. I just don't see the point of posting just to make fun of a toddler. With all the stuff to laugh about on the RHoOC a toddler's looks seem way down on the list. That poor kid already has that loony Vicki as a grandma.

I see that that Pioneer Woman thread is closed, I guess to much bickering. It doesn't get tons of traffic so the mods probably figured it was best just to close it.
I have never really watched the show but, she really had some people dislike her and a small group that would come to her defense. So it was a good back forth read for me. You know when I should have been doing other stuff:)
