I got banned. Excuse me while I go cry. They're shutting down in less than a month, and now I won't get to tell all of them to fuck off, in the style of Riley Escobar. I'm sad about that. I wish I had another name on there. I went out with a bang! I called them out for lying about Kenya's resume, and then told them that I'm merely a fan. I couldn't care less if they make it or not. They act as if they're getting paid to defend Kenya!

Is it just me, or do those people seem to thrive on the misery of others? I know Apollo is a criminal, and I have no sympathy for him. I do have sympathy for his kids, and his wife. However, those people are almost giddy with the fact that his family is ruined, and they just KNOW Phaedra had something to do with it. As if husbands don't keep things from their wives. I did call them out on that. I find that whole environment toxic, and now I'm kind of glad that the site will be shut down.

Another thing I don't understand about those people, why watch shows with people you obviously don't like, just so you can bitch about it on the internet? I don't watch Scandal, however I don't watch Scandal, knowing I hate it, only so I can bitch about it on the internet. I'm not saying they bitch about Scandal because I don't watch it. For instance, I saw Live with Kelly and whatever that guys name is. I liked the interview, and found Kelly to be charming, and the gentleman to be charming as well. I also loved their playful banter, and think of how far we've come when a White woman and a Black man can host a show together, and they can playfully flirt with each other. Well, I guess I saw a different show, because I read was blahblahblahblah I hate Kelly blahblah did I mention I despise Kelly? blahblah. And the mods let that shit go on. I won't miss it! Nor will I visit Previsouly.tv.

When Teresa and Joe rhonj were arrested/indicted people were over there heads with excitement. And when a few said they felt bad for the kids some posters actually said "if the parents don't care about their children, why should I?" Of course people should be punished but isn't it just oh, I don't know human to care about innocent children whose family is falling apart. So I'm not surprised by people on rhoa thread.

The live with Kelly and Michael/ Regis is and has always been the oddest/fascinating thread, to me at twop. The amount of hate does not match the show. It's so weird and random.
The view thread must be going nuts, with Sherri Shepard divorcing. I haven't looked at it but I can just imagine there delight.

Actually, on The View thread, it is the opposite. They think no one should have to go through what she's going through and they are on Team Sherri. Their opinion of Sherri personally hasn't changed, but the way Sal is doing all this is really chaffing them. Their biggest concern is for her son.

To me, most of those people on TWoP would fall victim to con artists. They believe that if someone speaks properly, uses correct grammar, they are a good person and can do anything they want. That is the reason they love the folks on Southern Charm; they're well spoken and that means they're good people. The reason I think this is true is because of a discussion (don't remember what show it was about) about accents. Many of the people mentioned how they had to take speech class in school to rid themselves of regional accents.

I think a lot of those people have problems with folks who are just who they are, because many of them have been taught that who they are wasn't okay; I hope that makes sense.

I also think that many of them, and this is from what they've posted about themselves, were the type of children who went to school, listened to the teacher, got good grades, kept their mouths shut, weren't loud and didn't try to attract attention. Many of them are educated, speak properly, use correct grammar, went to college, maybe graduate school and seem to be comfortable. I think the reason they hate reality stars is because many of them are the polar opposite of the TWoP crowd. Reality TV stars are loud, always trying to attract attention; many of them don't speak properly and some of them aren't educated at all. What pisses these folks off is that reality TV stars are making money and many of them have more money than the TWoP crowd. One woman there posted, "I'm an educated woman with a Ph.D. and I'll never make as much money as ____insert reality TV star's name there; to me that's why they can't stand people like Nene, Teresa, Ramona, Jill, etc. They were taught that if they kept their voices low, spoke properly, dressed becomingly, went to college, went to grad school, they were going to be all right, but now they see that's not the case; and I think it pisses them off.

Word to your entire post, Neurochick. The worst are posters who assume the worst about you personally simply because your opinion is out of sync with the rest of the thread. When I mentioned misgivings about a certain House Husband, a poster implied that nice people aren't suspicious...they expect everyone to be nice until they are no longer nice. Only negative suspicious people are incredulous or side-eye people when someone pings their "con-dar". Well, I think that's bullshit. If someone isn't passing my smell test it doesn't mean I'm secretly evil or a con artist. Just because I suspect someone might be shady doesn't mean I'm paranoid or negative. People sleep on intuition but the more I listen to my own, the fewer scrapes I find myself in. I wish I'd been as willing to listen to my heart when I was younger.

I'll be kind and say that the poster who believes only negative people question the motives of others isn't a straight fool who will always be taken in by smooth talk, a handsome face and an unassuming manner. She'll be much too nice to believe someone's running a con until her bank account is wiped out, I guess. Well she can keep on being nice while I stay watching my back (negatively, of course, because I'm probably shady too).

I don't mind being wrong about an opinion (actually in this case, I HOPE I'm wrong) but having it implied that my opinion indicates a character flaw pissed me off enough to keep me from posting for a while (and getting banned).

That's what got me banned. Someone implied that anyone who supports Nene is blind and can't see enough to judge her flaws or something to that effect. I responded that just because I like Nene it doesn't mean there's something wrong with me. I got banned. It's like an orgy of I love Kenya over there. Each person lying, and excusing her behavior as if she's their sister or something.
