The title of this thread should be changed to "Betty White - Not Dead."
She presented at the Daytime Emmys a few weeks ago. She has a recurring role as Stephanie's mother on Bold & Beautiful.

Holy shit, I was scared there!
I love Betty White. She's in her late 80s in still as sharp and witty as ever.

Damn right it should! I nearly had heart failure when I saw her name on the top of the front page. ETA: I love Betty White. I wish she could live forever. Losing all the folks I grew up on is devastating. John Ritter Bea Arthur Mr. Rogers Don Knots I could go on, but I don't want to make myself cry just thinking about them.

I have been watched Golden Girls everyday for about two weeks. I forgot how good of a show it was.

Does anyone have any gossip on the Betty White/Bea Arthur feud?

I seriously got the kleenex and started to prepare myself for opening this thread. I'm going to have a hard time when Rose and Blanche leave this world.

She was also incredibly awesome on That 70's Show as Kitty's mom. She appeared in at least 3 or so episodes and was really evilbitchy and passive aggressive and hysterically funny. Flove her and so glad she's still getting roles and is getting appreciation from the industry.

Sue Ann Nivens is one of the greatest TV characters ever, IMO, and Betty rocks. And yes, the appearance of this thread scared the hell out of me, too.

So, there are Greecies all over the place who are seeing this thread title and having heart attacks? I know I did.
I'll sign on to that. Betty was brilliant in that role. I loved Rose, too; now that I live in Minnesota, I appreciate the St. Olaf stories even more.
I had to smile when I saw an ad for the new Password with Betty, because she was married to the host of the original Password, Allen Ludden. Man, I loved that show; with Jeopardy, among the best game shows ever.
