I don't see what the issue is with the pictures. Bouncy probably doesn't have a flat belly because her legs are still swollen looking. Plus we can't really see anything besides her belly button because she is covered in fluff. Twin pregnancy really messes up your body, and she isn't immune to that no matter how much money she has. The children are cute, and I'm not that fond of their names. That's all I got. She still has a tummy. And she's still pretty thick. I like Sir (knew a Sir when I was younger, nice kid) and don't really like Rumi. I don't know how ANYONE walks in those shoes. I'm not bad with heels, but when the platform is so rigid that I can't bend my foot I turn into Frankenstein's monster.

She actually had on different heels (more pointy), but changed out to the platforms. I can only do platform or wedges. Anything else and I'm twisting my ankles constantly. As for the names, I'm black, so unusual names are common. I got a Knowledge, Everlasting, Poetic, Justice (or Poetic Justice, I think it's the same person) and a few Princesses in my own family. And those are just regular words. We also got made up names that makes no sense, including mine. Sir and Rumi fit right in with the 20 different variations of Braden and Kaiden.

It's the tackiness of it all. It's like a photoshop version of what a grandma would do with her cats for a Christmas card. To the extreme. I just don't get it.

I was going to say this is celebrity nowadays and then remembered Renaissance and Dutch portraits. So this is just normal to rich people.

I saw another picture in the series that looked a great deal like the Virgen de Guadalupe imagery that you often see on the outside of memorial candles and on the hoods of some cars with intricate paint jobs. I don't know if that was the intent, but it has got some people riled up. Bey's photoCandle. I'm having trouble pinning down the exact image I have in my mind, which includes an infant.

I studied a bit of art history back in the day and Beyonce's lastest picture reminds me of Maesta paintings. Virgin Mary and baby Jesus. Maesta is Italian for "majesty", so I'm sure Bey went all in on that when she found out.

For me, it's referring to Black Madonna of Częstochowa, whose imagery is also used in reference to Erzulie Dantor in vodun and related African diasporic religions. I don't know if that's intentional, but art is subjective, etc.

Yeah, I didn't even give a thought to her body, it's the utter "behold unto thee, I present...THE TWINS OF THE GODDESS BEYONCE" vibe to the whole thing. It's pretentious. I'm also remembering the "they don't like attention" comment from a ~source in People a few months ago and laughing all over again.

I think the glorification of mother and child imagery is fairly universal, but that particular photo could almost have been overlaid onto the side of a tall white jar candle sold at a corner store here in Tucson. My smart alecky son bought one to put on the driveway next to the bird that died after being trapped under the carport. Random note, the next day there was another dove in the nest, so we figured the candle must have worked.
