I thought this ep was all over the place, but excited to see how it all plays out! Preachers, drugs stronger than oxy, Boyd, disreputable constables, tit-flashing... And of course Raylan's dad, who is just not right in the head. YES.

Last night's ep...hmm, didn't grab me. I did find the snake-in-the-face pretty nasty.

I've liked the back and forth among the marshals, and gawking at the kid from Jurassic Park, most of all. And Boyd, of course. I'm waiting for the storylines to come together.

Couldn't deal with the snakes. Thankfully missed the snake head in the cheek & the reverend getting killed.
I'm kinda over Raylan's issues. He needs to get his S1 mojo back.

The snake attack scene was terrifying. The brother being bitten by the poisonous snake was really sad. It kind of looked like Boyd felt a little bad about it too.
ETA: cannot believe they were going to kill Ellie May! Loved the woman shooting both Raylan and her loser ex.

Damn! I didn't realize the preacher had died and yo, Ellie May, good for you girl! I would panic at being in a car with Ron Eldard too. I thought this was great, esp. the blonde shooting beanbags at every man in her path.

I really love when this show turns hillbilly stereotypes on their heads. It's definitely part of what makes it so great. Did anyone else peg Gerald McRainey as Drew Thompson? I thought he was from the moment I saw him, but I'm probably wrong. The severed foot made me shudder.

I thought he was from the moment I saw him, but I'm probably wrong. The severed foot made me shudder. I didn't. Not until the boys were captured. I love when they put those two together. Best parts of the season are when their storylines merge. |

I used to crush on him majorly. I don't know if he gained weight for the role--my heart says no, I think he's just a chubbs middle-aged actor. But he fits his role on Justified. |
