Jennifer Tilly just won the Ladies No Limit Texas Holdem at the World Series of Poker. Of course, she is dating the Unibomber, so that gave her a leg up.

Bak in the day, I thought her sister Meg Tilly was going to have the career longevity, being the serious one and a dancer to boot. Jennifer was two years older, bordering on fat with enormous boobs, and a voice like Carol Kane. I think anyone would have said Meg would still be around today but not many would have said the same about Jennifer.

But Meg has fallen off the map into nowhere, while Jennifer has gone on to become and indie queen, and oscar nominee, a popular voice over actress ( I know!)and the Bride of Chucky several times over. Plus she was really hot with Gina Gershwin in that lesbian mob movie.

She looks better today than she did 15 years ago. And more importantly, she looks like someone you'd enjoy talking to in an informal setting. Any thoughts on the interesting Ms. Tilly?

I think she's cool.

Her voice makes her sound like she has massive laryngitis, sure. Her breasts are freakishly big, definately. She makes B-movies, I know. But see, those things are why I like her. She's different. She's not another dyed-blonde lollipop. Also, she dresses really, really well. Whenever I see her in a magazine she is almost always wearing something really cute.

Also, I have a body a lot like hers.

My only complaint: she should not have short hair. Her face looks five miles wide when her hair is short.

She was nominated for an Oscar? Methinks I have to do research. The only film I can remember her in is Liar, Liar. That was her, wasn't it? Carrey's client?

Meg Tilly is Colin's baby mama. Colin has implied that Meg is not so emotionally stable and she wanted them to live like hermits in her cabin (on a rural island near Vancouver). After several years he realized he was going crazy and escaped.

Jennifer is annoying. I don't think her shtick is funny, and the fact that she has an Oscar nomination is one of those big embarassments that should haunt the Academy.

No way! She was hilarious in Bullets Over Broadway. (Meg has a nomination, too, for Agnes of God.)

I like Jennifer, but I can understand how some people can be annoyed by the breathy dolly thing. But I like Joey Lauren Adams too, so what's a poor fellow to do?

I can't stand her. I saw an interview with her and she explained how she was trying to buy all of these purses and shoes made from the skins of endangered animals. She proceeded to explain that she thought it was fine since animals are useless anyway. I was disgusted and kept thinking "how useful are you?" In my view she belongs in the same category as Star Jones, a waste of space.

I love her on talk shows. Always entertaining.
and I love how she's cool with her b-movie status and even makes fun it herself. She's great.
