Anyone watch Martin Sheen's episode tonight? The episode was interesting though I think it dragged at parts. Martin didn't stay very long in Ireland. Maybe he knew more about his Irish side than his Spanish side. Or he was there longer and NBC decided to edit it out. The Don Diego/Antonia connection... just wow! I didn't see the twist of of their descendants marrying coming! That rival's Alan Cumming's episode for "Best WDYTYA Twist"! Emilio and Ramon are looking a lot better than Charlie! Crack, booze and whore will do that to you

Anyone else watch the Rita Wilson episode? When she met her uncle at the end and he brought out the letter I just started bawling.

Anyone else watch the Rita Wilson episode? When she met her uncle at the end and he brought out the letter I just started bawling. I actually came here to post the same thing! I just watched it online and I was crying from the moment she learned about her father's life and where he was born. Such an amazing episode. To think of all he did to get to America. It's just mind-blowing. So much to be grateful for.

Rita's episode really got to me. It was tear jerker for sure. That letter was killer.

Did anyone catch Kelly Clarkson last night?
I wish they had gone further than her great-great-great-grandfather, but he was a fascinating person to survive Andersonville and eventually end up in the Ohio State Senate.
Next week is Christina Applegate.

I watched and thought that Kelly was a little over-the-top in her responses, but at the same time I think she was just being quirky. I LOL'd so hard when she heard that her 3x great-grandfather was a Sheriff in Ohio, "You mean like TOMBSTONE!". BWAH!
I too wish they showed more than just him and his story, but from what I've read they usually go back further but focus on the ones that have more 'TV appeal'.
