That was my thought. Daylight savings dosen't start until November 7th. Those people were probably jsut sneaking into the movie and being rude. I'm in Australia. Daylight Savings definitely began on Sunday here!

The AMC theatre by my house doesn't allow children in R rated movies after 5, which I love.

We went to see Fubar II last weekend and it was a gong show, but a super awesome one! A whole bunch of people dressed up for the show, the theatre was serving beer, and the whole crowd sang along to Every Rose has it's Thorn. Normally, it would be a nightmare, but given the subject matter, it was perfect!

Went to see FOR COLORED GIRLS last night. I would like to say I enjoyed the movie but the three heifers behind us talked THE ENTIRE movie and the halfwit in front of me was on her iPhone majority of the time. And the argument that broke out in the upper corner of the theatre. I think the three heifers thought it was going to be an updated WAITING TO EXHALE. We were so angry after the movie it was all we could talk about. Bastard people.

Someone brought a toddler to the screening of Saw 3D that I went to last week. The poor kid was crying during the commercials for crying out loud, and I imagine the only reason he/she didn't make any noise during the actual movie was because they were too traumatized to do anything.

Heh. At my showing of For Colored Girls the woman a few seats down from me brought two small children- an infant and a 3 yr.old I guess, and there was at least one other crying baby in the theater. Granted this was a 4 p.m. Saturday showing, but I could not think of more inappropriate subject matter for children. I hope the older kid keeps her up with nightmares for a good while.

Movie theaters should just open day care rooms.

Movie theaters should just open day care rooms. One of the theaters near me has one.

Went to see Hereafter tonight and some dude fell asleep and snored for about half an hour until the manager woke him up. Five minutes later the man fell asleep again! Somebody kept poking him until he finally got up and left. It will be a long time before I go out to see a movie again. Freaking distracting.

Last Sunday packed full theatre. Right from the beginning of the film there was a strange smell in the movie theatre and after about ten minutes I looked over to the girl next to me to see she had taken of her shoes. She sat there with her feet on the seat, chin resting on knees for the entire movie ! I'm a chicken shit and didn't say anything, but WTF. This is not your living room !
