I loved the teaser trailer that came out months ago, and it stoked my interest. I just watched the full trailer, and kept wondering who is going to be better/sweeter than Randall Park, and hotter than Daniel Dae Kim? I kept trying to figure out who the mystery hunk was going to be! They didn't disappoint.  I really can't wait to see ABMM. I love Ali Wong and I am so glad to see her winning. |

They're making another Terminator, this time with a female focused plot. Sigh. I'm torn. I'm down with the future being female, women kicking ass, and so on and so forth, but this just felt like they were pandering to me. I just kept wondering where John was. The entire mythos is built on him being the chosen one, and his life being most important to the survival of the human race. This is just a teaser, so all hasn't been revealed, but seriously, where the hell is John? Maybe throw in the line that the new girl is Sarah Connor's grandchild or something. Action for action's sake just leaves me hollow. Give me a reason to care. Sorry for the dissertation. The first 2 Terminator movies are some of my favorite movies of all time. I even like bits of some of the lesser sequels. I hope they didn't bring Linda Hamilton back for a weak story.  |
