Glitter is an awesome bad movie. You'll see Terrence Howard, and as I just discovered on IMDB Padma Laksmhi before they went on to better things.

Dear God, how I loved this movie as a teenager. I would just laugh hysterically for almost the entire movie when I wasn’t worried for Tom Hanks that is. The ambulance ride? Her hair getting caught in his zipper? Tee hee. I must buy it so that I can continue to enjoy it.

My favorite part's when Jim Belushi's in the house after the CIA guys have messed everything up and he finally gets exasperated, looks into the camera, and bellows, " Oh, come on!"

That one is good. Belushi is great in it.
God I love Dabney Coleman – what I wouldn’t give for some of the lines that guy has delivered (Charles Durning too.)
Brown: Wouldn't it bother you to send an innocent man to his grave? Ross: Are you serious? We're talking about my career.
This one and Ruthless People have some of the bitchiest dialogue I’ve ever heard. No wonder I love both movies!

My favorite parts of the movie are the only two appearances of her cat. We only see him when she has to leave her mother and when she leaves her boyfriend. Both times the cat looks very uncomfortable and completely uninterested. The dubbed in "meow" is pathetic. You never see the cat at any other time of the movie.

He-Man: Masters of the Universe Flash Gordon Dangerously Close (1986): Cheesy, high school flick starring John Stockwell. Loved it.

What was with the randomly placed glitter stripe that would move from scene to scene?

YES! OMG Glitter is such an awesome hot mess. Let's not forget the xylophone seduction scene. And the fact that she's wearing huge white granny panties.
And that scene at the end when she's stumbling to her Mom's doorstep, which seems to take 5 minutes of screentime. HA.

Her big concert at the end with just one song. Classic.
