Yeah, I just posted about that one in the Worst. Movie. Ever. thread, because it is, but the Reverend was decently creepy.

Just saw 28WeeksLater and good god, the violence and gore and blood and camerawork is so intense. Ugh. I hated how they expanded on the eye gouging from the first one. It was horrid enough the first time, so the second time was really gratuitous, I thought.

I only wish in the current one that it was one of the freaking kids whose eyes got gouged out. I hate those damn kids.

Hostel Part II's first torture scene. Spoilered to protect the innocent. Don't read this if you've eaten recently:
Heather Matarazzo's character is naked, bound, gagged and hung upside down over a shallow bathtub of sorts with lit candles all over the vaguely spa-like room. Her female torturer comes in, strips naked and lies beneath Heather. She then takes a wicked-looking scythe and slashes Heather over and over, her blood coming down all over her torturer, who takes erotic pleasure writhing around in her victim's blood as Heather's character (now un-gagged) screams in agony. This modern-day Elizabeth Bathory finally puts her out of her misery by slashing her throat, releasing another torrent of blood.

This is in regards to an urban myth surrounding Wizard of Oz. I wasn't sure which thread it fits in, but I figured it would be a disturbing movie moment if it were true and there will always be some who believe that it is. Munchkin SuicideThis story has been going around for like 20 years, but it's the first I've heard of it. I don't know how anyone can see a hanging munchkin in that scene, but the myth persists. I heard about it from my daughter so it's apparently continuing through the generations. Here's a better view of that scene: Link
