I cried at the end of " In Her Shoes". Just the fact that Cameron Diaz's character was able to read the poem to her sister at her wedding (if you ever see it, that will make more sense)and what was said in the poem itself made me and my sister cry until the credits rolled . My heart must be made of ice because I didn't cry when Bambi's mom got shot. I just remember thinking something along the lines of "Well, shit. That sucks.". The fact that i'm 19 and saw the movie for the first time yesterday might play a part too .

I'm not a movie crier, but I've seen some movies with my aunt, who is. She cried during a PREVIEW for In America, she lost her shit during Simon Birch (and cried the entire way home, and after when she thought about it, but she has also cried at a commercial for Sylvan Learning Center, so, she kind of gets wrapped up in the emotions that apparently come across so strongly in any given medium ;D

Word on the Bambi tears. I also cry uncontrollably during wait for it.......Short Circuit 2. You know when they try to destroy Johnny 5? Yes, there. I cried like a baby when I first saw it at the age of 4, and still get a bit misty eyed when I see it now. Damn you Johnny 5!
Also another animal related movie. The Land Before Time. When the mom is killed by the T-Rex? Forget a box of tissues, I just go for bath towel. More absorbant. Fucking carnivores why?!

The scene in A League of Their Own when the messenger brings a telegram that one of the husbands died gets me every time. I think it's just the whole soldier's family thing, though. The Marine unit that lost 14 soldiers in one day last summer is based in this area, and the articles were gutwrenching.

Word on Short Circuit 2. Absolutely. Cried buckets.
I watched The Notebook for the first time last night, and I admit the ending brought a tear to my eye.

I rarely cry at movies, but I well up during the last few minutes of It's a Wonderful Life every stinkin' time, even if it's just a clip show or it's on in the background and I'm not paying attention. Partly because Jimmy Stewart always reminds me of my lovely, amazing father, and never more than in IaWL. Partly because he's so happy and relieved to be reunited with his kids and his wife, and so stunned by the love and generosity being lavished on him by everyone who loves him. It's just so touching, even for a tough broad like me.

This is goofy but I cry (just a little!) when I see the old neighbor in Home Alone hugging his estranged son and scooping up his granddaughter at the end of the movie. The look on that old man's face gets me every time.

I loved the ending of In Her Shoes! That scene moved me too.
Short Circuit 2 got me, I'll fess up. Here's another one for you. There was a scene in K-9 (yeah, I said it) where the dog got shot, and Jim Belushi shoots down the bad guys (because they shot his dog, y'all), brings the dog into the hospital and revives him with the heart fibrollator thingy. I'm still a little verklempt just thinking about it.
Other tear jerkers. . . What Dreams May Come had me crying from beginning to end. I had to by stock in Puffs Plus tissue by the time I was done. And when I saw The Wedding Singer for the first time, I cried when Robbie sang to Julia on the airplane. That was freakin' beautiful man.

The look on that old man's face gets me every time. Yeah, I cry just a wee bit during that scene too. What's worse is the fact that I mist up (just a mist! not actual tears!) at the end of Drop Dead Gorgeous when Dr. Sunken Tits manages to become an anchor woman, just like she always wanted. But I don't watch movies that are known for making people cry. Lion King, Bambi, Old Yeller? Never seen any of 'em.

There was a scene in K-9 (yeah, I said it) Hey, that's one of my favorite films EVER!!!! Harumph! Okay, okay, so I'm animal obsessed, and coco for cocopuffs nutty about German Shepherds in particular ;D but still... Jerry Lee and that film are icons in the GSD community. And how could one not love a film where a gorgeous GSD with an attitude loves chili, chews up Belushi's radio as retaliation, swallows the frozen steaks as an F-U, stops the sex scene and takes over the girl, and is generally smarter than the human.... ? Me too. Every time I see that film, I cry from the time Jerry Lee is shot in his gorgeous running scene, past when Belushi takes out his gun to insist on an operation, to when Jerry Lee wakes up and hides his eyes with his paws after being discovered. Sniffle. *going to go hug her own Jerry Lee*
