From the little I saw about Kendra's sex tape, it's less a case of her actively marketing a sex tape and more a case, like with Pam Anderson and Tommy Lee, that the tape is going to be out there regardless of her involvement but that she is entitled to some of whatever money it makes.

Maybe NOW Kendra is fighting the sex tape, but the tabs have legal papers from last fall where she was trying to release the sex tape herself. Apparently, it was held up because Hugh Hefner would need to sign off on it.

I don't know about this Kendra person. She's having threesomes and f**king Hugh Hefner and now she's concerned about her public persona? She should be worried about her personal hygiene.

(tiny voice) I've actually always kind of liked Kendra. Her mother and grandmother were as pleased as could be about her Hef arrangement (and the goodies it afforded THEM). They seemed like a couple of greedy cows. I remember Kendra wanting to buy a condo and get away from the Hef dependence a bit, and mom was none too pleased.
I haven't watched her show, but I can see where she might have gone terribly awry with those two gals as her role models.

To be fair to Kendra's mother and grandmother, Kendra ran away from home as a teen and got into drugs, abusive relationships and underage stripping. It sounds like she really put her family through the wringer. So being part of Hefner's harem was actually the most stable thing she'd ever done at that point and Hef being so strict about his girlfriend's lives (while being wildly sexist) probably helped Kendra stay sober and out of trouble. So it wasn't totally crazy or selfish that her mother wouldn't be thrilled about her leaving. But word on always liking Kendra. She's dumb as a post, but through several seasons of the Girls Next Door, she appeared not to have a mean bone in her body. Her bubbly, excited-puppy personality is kind of remarkable considering all she's been through at a young age. |
