Not to be all "It's so much better the second time!" but...it's so much better the second time. Things made more sense, and I think the emotional elements played bigger. Plus, maybe it was my theater, but I actually caught all of Watanabe's lines. I also just love hearing the audience's reactions. The theater was really full, if not sold out.
I couldn't tell if he was wearing his wedding ring at the end either! I did notice that the older versions of the kids not only appear at the very end, but in limbo, as well (I think. The older girl has darker hair). Interesting that when Mal's trying to convince Cobb that those children are real, they actually appear as their real ages, not as he remembers them. What does that mean? I have no idea.
Also, I think the reason the daughter sounds so much older on the phone is because, according to IMDb, she's almost 9 in real life, but is playing a 5-year-old.

I'm going to open a thread when you can talk about this film without using spoilers.

2. Ok, somebody explain the phantom hospital they were all going to go to at the end. It was never shown, right? Araidne and Cobb ended up in his memories instead.I thought that the hospital was the third level dream. It was pretty weird for a hospital, but there looked to be hospital stuff around.

Did anyone notice how wonderful the clothes were in the film? I noticed some lovely little parallels like Saito's kimono-type shirt under his jacket which he wears very early in the film was very similar to the white shirt Ariadne wears under her gray-ish suit jacket in the scene where Arthur gets his sneaky kiss. Also felt that when we first meet Eames, his clothes have a sort of homespun look to them, whereas Cobb's looked shiny and made of fabric of a much finer quality. I felt like the clothes were slightly different and perhaps slightly futuristic in the way they were put together. I can't explain it really but it felt like the clothes were not clothes we'd be wearing right now.
I'm a nerd, I know.

Didn't notice those details, but I did notice Saito's kimono-like shirt under his suit and I was very distracted (not in a bad way) by it! I was like, "Do people really do that? How does the shirt drape around the waistline? How does that work?" I'm half-Japanese so I was curious whether Japanese men really do this as a modification of Western business wear. It did look very cool.

A little OT, but this little girl looks EXACTLY like my daughter at age 4-ish. It's uncanny!

I guess I don't like the genre. I got bored, so I left about two thirds of the way.

Just (finally!) saw this a few hours ago and my mind is still blown. The ending? The top fell, he saved KW, he woke up, he was cleared of the charges, and he's back with his kids. The. End. Lalalala I can't hear you!! LalalalaHa! I have my fingers in my ears, too. I was all overcome with emotion and then the camera panned to that damned top. I was like, "Wait. What?! NOOOOOOO! Fuuuuuuck!!!!" I am going to waste so much time reading the various theories about this movie. Mindfuck aside, I loved how Nolan captured the feel of dreams. Maybe it wasn't as completely "WTF" as some of my dreams, but I thought it achieved the feel of that place/state between realism and surrealism. Kind of like how in a dream, you're in a house that doesn't look like your house, but you know it's your house. It's hard to describe, but it really worked for me. The cast was great. Leo was really affecting, especially in the flashback to his wife's suicide. Like pretty much everyone else, I loved JGL (hotness in that suit and got one of the biggest laughs at my screening for his "worth a shot" line after kissing EP) and Cillian Murphy (those gorgeous eyes).
